Home Decor

Color Optional

One of my favorite color combinations has always been the very basic black and white.  Lucky for me (and my wardrobe), this past fall/winter was the season of bold black and white prints and color blocking.  My love for the graphic black/white pairing has not stopped at my closet contents. I’ve become mildly obsessed with home decor that has been stripped of all true color.  There is something palate cleansing about a black and white space.  When paired with bold accents, rustic woods and warm metals the end result is far from sterile.

Like a breath of fresh design air, no?  If you’re looking to take more of a “baby step” into the realm of black and white, the new Nate Berkus Spring 2014 collection at Target, is totally a MUST and at a price point that can’t be beat.

What design themes and colors are inspiring YOU this season?

XOXO,

Stella
