Palm Print

As you can imagine, I’m not one to flock to spring florals and feminine prints.

However, when stripes or a graphic print just won’t do, it’s nice to have an alternative — especially one that has reached the ever-elusive, “classic” status.

Yes, you read correctly. The palm print is a classic.

From its not-so-humble 1942 beginnings as the iconic wallpaper of choice for the Beverly Hills Hotel (Martinique is the actual name of the print!), this classic print can be seen popping up on everything from home decor, to clothing and accessories… and I’m not mad about it.

I may or may not have ordered a set of PALM PRINT THROW PILLOWS for my formal sitting room over the weekend… along with a navy velvet couch, framed art and other assorted goodies! That space has been a work in progress, but I’ll make sure to do a full reveal of all of its Hollywood Regency glory when it’s completed in a few weeks.

One last bit of important business before I go — the SAKS FIFTH AVENUE Friends + Family Sale is underway with lots of great finds on sale for 30% off retail! I highly recommend you scope the site for all of the summer staples you’ve been eyeing the past few weeks.

How adorable are these FRINGE ANKLE WRAP ESPADRILLES?! I love the denim! Coincidentally, those shoes would look fantastic with this SHIRTDRESS and this BAG

Just sayin’.
