The November List

Can you believe how quickly November has crept up on us?

It was only just yesterday we were mourning the passing of summer and flip-flop season. For better or worse, the holiday season is descending and rather than hang our heads in pumpkin-spiced sadness, let’s embrace all of what November has to offer — cold weather fashion included!

Here’s my November List — a curated style edit of anything and everything that is going to be in high rotation this month.

Shop The Post:

  1. Newsboy Hat — I’ve worn a newsboy hat for a few seasons now and it’s my favorite for everyday wear. Look like a Parisian gamine even when the sky is spitting a mix of rain and sleet overhead.

  2. Bell Sleeve Shirt — The last couple of season have seen the rise of the statement top. From off the shoulder necklines, to ruffles and flounce, this winter’s iteration is a modest fitted blouse with feminine bell sleeves.

  3. Pea Coat — Structured and A-line, a pea coat will keep you warm while giving all of your oversized knits the finishing polished touch. This one just happens to be under $90!

  4. Heavy Duty Facial Moisturizer — It’s important to be proactive and keep that flaking dry skin of winter held off for as long as possible. Treat your skin to a rich, naturally-derived, moisturizing facial treatment from the comfort of your own home.

  5. Rich Hand Cream — Did you know that aside from our face, our hands show the most signs of aging? Give the delicate skin on your hands the attention and moisture it deserves. I love this really thick, non-greasy had creme and keep a tube of it in my car at all times — because there is nothing worse than the feeling of dry hands.

  6. Plaid Mini — How cute would this asymmetrical spin on a school girl skirt be paired with an oversized sweater, tights and booties?

  7. Chunky Knits — Enough said.

  8. Gold Hoops — While I’m not generally a fan of Jenny-From-The-Block style, oversized earrings, I can’t help but love these modern, gold hoops.

  9. Straight Leg Jeans — Did you see YESTERDAY’S POST? The slightly retro feel of this curve hugging, higher waisted denim is just what I need to ensure I have some shape under all of those bulky winter layers.

  10. Unique Handbags — Don’t get me wrong, I love me a luxury label designer bag (THIS ONE, please?!)… but what I love more is finding those fun, under-the-radar styles that no one else has, but everyone will want!

  11. Black Studded Booties — Yes, I still want those ridiculously expensive Chloe booties. They’re a cult classic.

  12. Velvet Blazer — Velvet is the of-the-moment textile and no one does it better than FRAME.

  13. Kick Flare Pants — A slim, figure-hugging pair of black pants with a small, flirty flare is all you need to elevate your style and show off your favorite booties — especial when they’re on sale + under $80.

  14. Blue Button Down — This traditional office staple becomes a great foundation piece this season for a minimalist, chic style. Whether worn on it’s own or layered under a jacket or sweater, you’ll be wearing this shirt A LOT.

  15. Fluffy Scarf — Essentially a cozy, warm blanket that’s approved for public use.

  16. Cashmere Hoodie — I used to own a grey cashmere hoodie that I literally wore until it had holes in it — RIP Banana Republic Hoodie circa 2002. Trust me, you want one. Try it under a blazer (see #12!) or even under your favorite lingerie inspired SLIP DRESS with STAN SMITHS for a sporty twist.

  17. Long Sleeved Dress — That November chill in the air means that long sleeves are back and can be just as sexy as those skin-baring, little, summer dresses. This moody floral print dress is exactly what I want to wear for a night out.

  18. Leather Trainers — Already distressed, these cool kicks are perfect for whatever Mother Nature throws at us this month. Oh, and with the weak Euro, you can score them at a discount!
