Welcome, friends! Hope you all stayed cozy and warm this weekend!
The last few days have been a cold shock to the system (to say the least). After what’s been a pretty mild Autumn, Cleveland got the full-on, polar vortex treatment, lake effect snow and all. Most tragically, I think I lost my favorite hat.
Seriously, who loses their hat the first weekend into hat wearing season!?
My favorite hat was a local pop-up shop purchase from last year: a black, waffle-knit, slouchy beanie with a grey/taupe fur pom on top. I’m pretty sure THIS is the exact hat. Nothing too wild, but it was the perfect hat with the perfect fit that even on the coldest days left me feeling put together and warm. I literally turned my house upside down looking for it and even called Costco, where I last remember wearing it (it was a hot & sexy Saturday night!) to see if it had turned up in their lost and found.
Sadly, I think my favorite fur pom hat is a goner.
So what’s a girl to do to cheer herself up, besides a little shopping!? The silver lining to this tragic tale is that I found so many cute knit hats, it was hard to pick a replacement. Which makes me feel better… just a little.
So take a look and browse my favorite picks. You just might find a new favorite hat of your own!
