Love Is Timeless: JORD Wood Watch

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, a case of love on the brain is not unusual.

(Maybe that’s a result of that awesome, new RIHANNA SONG playing on repeat?!)

These days, everyone seems to be in need of more love… to say the least.

New love or old, platonic or romantic, we could all benefit from appreciating the love that we have a bit more — and I’m no exception. After 10 years of marriage, I can say with confidence that love is a living, breathing entity and not a static thing. It ebbs and flows and is constantly shifting as we move through different stages in relationships, life and time. Just like any other creature, it needs to be nurtured and respected and we all need to be willing to put in the effort to make that happen.

About a month ago, I connected with a brand called JORD. They specialize in unique, swiss-precision, wood watches that are created for a modern lifestyle. Aside from their sleek, unisex design, the thing I loved most about the company was their commitment to telling more than time. Their timepieces are not just about telling us how much time has passed, but making us aware of the need to make that time count.

(Aren’t those drop earrings so pretty!? They’re by a local Cleveland-based retailer called BOMBAY TAXI BOUTIQUE! Love.)

For me, the gift of time is so symbolic in so many different ways.

What more precious resource can you give someone you love, than your time?

Whether it’s with an unexpected “I love you,” an extra tight hug, or a even a sweet donut and coffee breakfast treat, each day is an opportunity to grow the love between us all. I’m happy I’ll have my JORD WATCH there with me each step of the way.

I selected the FRANKIE style in Koa & Ash — a beautiful, minimalist marriage of warm and cool neutrals that looks as good on my wrist as it does on his. How appropriate, right?! Whether for Valentine’s Day (you can still order by noon today for Valentine’s Day delivery!) or just because, this is definitely a gift to consider.

I’m really excited to share that JORD and I are giving away a $100 gift card to use on the watch of your choice!

Now, I know you’re thinking, “Why bother!? I never win anything!” However, there are no losers here at THD and each entrant will be receiving a $25 gift card to JORD just for entering. You have to get crackin’ — the giveaway will close 02/26/2017 at 11:59pm and both the $100 and the $25 codes will expire on 04/30/2017.

See, I’m sharing the love already… but I’m NOT sharing my doughnuts.

Hands off.

Yes– My kids used to ask for Kelsey Elizabeth macarons when she was still located in Avon and had a kiosk in Crocker Park. Now, once a week on our way to pick up my daughter from dance, I try to pop into the RR location to pick up dessert. It’s definitely NOT as crowded as it is on Valentines Day! Hope you enjoyed.
