It’s only appropriate that loungewear/athleisure is the topic of discussion as I sit in joggers and a t-shirt surrounded by a mountain of packing boxes.
Our house packing bonanza is officially in full swing. In between our regular weekend activities and plans, I tried to pack as many boxes as I humanly could before 1) getting an overwhelming number of paper cuts 2) getting tired of my Amazon Music George Michael station (The combination of AMAZON PRIME + ALEXA is a game changer!) 3) getting frustrated that I keep packing and packing, yet the house still looks the same.
Which brings me back to my original topic: loungewear + athleisure.
If you’re anything like me, you understand there is a major distinction between your old, worn out, lounge-on-the-couch-when-you-have-the-flu clothes, and your “fancy” sweatpants. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve made a strong attempt to weed out anything from my closet that I would be embarrassed to be seen wearing in public. Comfortable loungewear certainly can be BOTH cute and comfortable, and when it comes to fashion lines like LOU & GREY, that’s totally possible.
Have you ever shopped LOU & GREY?
It’s a brand owned by Ann Taylor and the line is sold via the LOU & GREY website. You can also find it on the Ann Taylor LOFT site and in select LOFT stores, or stand alone LOU & GREY retail locations. It’s basically all of my favorite things rolled into one: neutral, mix & match, comfortable + put together. I guess you can call it, “Lifewear!”
These are the clothes in which you could easily run errands in all morning and still look chic enough to meet a friend for dinner/drinks in the evening. They’re great pieces for travel and can easily serve double duty as stand-in activewear to and from the gym.
In addition to your typical athleisure collection, LOU & GREY also carries assorted JEWELRY, BEAUTY + ACCESSORY lines that give you that finished polish even on your most comfortable days. How pretty are these DAINTY EARRINGS? Loving this CLASSIC SIGNET RING, too, by the way!
Also, has anyone tried out the KANI line of beauty products — makeup and skin care!? The branding/packaging is to die for and would make for a beautiful vanity display. I’m hoping it works as well as it looks!
Basically, you need to check this retailer out. Like, now.
