(Thank you, Cyndi Lauper & Sirius/XM 80’s Channel for getting that song stuck in my head.)
When we see celebrities, fashion editors and street style fashionistas, we’re often tempted to say that they can look as good as they do because of their unlimited funds. “Real” people could never pull that style off without taking a second mortgage on their home, or going without food for a few weeks.
Apologies for the (slightly) later posting! Yesterday turned into one of those days when time just gets away from you, and an enchilada dinner, 2 playoff football games and some Pacifico beer step up to get involved. Not a bad thing… AT ALL. Regardless, I am (with coffee in hand) ready to take on this week. Starting with my latest shopping list, obviously.
Since starting my minimalism kick a few months back, I’ve pretty much stuck to the “the less things, the better” game-plan. While I don’t have an official 33-piece capsule as I did this fall, I still abide by most of the rules and have grown to love living with only those clothes I love. As you can imagine, with time, some of the clothes do look a little “loved.” So it’s time for a little refresh. I’m bringing in replacements for pieces that have seen better days, and I’m starting to plan for (warmer) spring days ahead… and our annual family beach vacation in April! I’ve put together my “wish list” which includes a few things for now, as well as many for later and hope to slowly check these off my list as the spring approaches.
How amazing are those drapey t-shirts, by the way? I read about the KAIN LABEL a few years ago in a magazine article about “Editor’s Favorites.” Their favorites, clearly turned into mine. Oh, and my new obsessive love for all products RMS BEAUTY is only growing. I keep wanting to add new colors to my collection! See, I could go on and on about any of the items on my list… a clear sign of love.
